What are the power requirements to operate the skyla HB1 analyzer?
A
The analyzer requires 100-240 volts AC, 50-60 Hz or 12 volts DC, 5.0 A.

Is surge protection required for the skyla HB1 analyzer?
A
The analyzer should not share the same circuit with other high-current devices. A surge protector is recommended to protect the analyzer.

What is the shelf life of the reagent discs?
A
The reagent discs can be stored for up to 9 months at 4°C

Can the expired reagent discs be used?
A
No, the result of the test will be unreliable.

How long can the reagent disc stay at temperatures above 4°C?
A
Avoid placing unopened reagent discs in places higher than 25°C (77℉) for more than 48 hours.

How long can the reagent disc be used after removing from the foil pouch?
A
After opening the pouch, the disc should be used within 20 minutes. Do not place the disc back in the refrigerator for later use.

What is the sample size required for a test?
A
200μL is required to run a test. A 200μL micropipette is provided with each analyzer.

What types of samples can be used with the skyla HB1 analyzer?
A
